How it works

The therapist will arrive 10-15 min. prior to the appointment time to greet you and setup the table in a room of your choice (please allow enough space for the table which is over 6 feet in length). All supplies are included (such as oil, sheets, pillows, towels, and bolsters).

Once setup, there will be time to go over any conditions, injuries, or surgery on the health history form for new clients. If therapist finds it necessary, an orthopedic test(s)/assessment may be completed prior to treatment, with client's consent.

When you are ready, the massage
therapist will leave the room to clean their hands which will allow enough time for you to disrobe to the level of your comfort and position yourself on the table as instructed. During your treatment, only the areas worked on will be exposed with modest draping provided at all times. Your pressure preference will be communicated throughout your massage. Your comfort is of utmost importance! Once the session is complete, the massage therapist will once again leave the room and give you enough time to sit up and get dressed. You may be assigned some home care to enhance your healing process. In the end, the sheets and supplies are properly stored to avoid contamination, and the table and equipment are sanitized accordingly to the industry requirements (please allow 10 min.)

Typically, the initial appointment will take longer (due to assessment, hands-on treatment, and post-treatment self-care that is provided for you), please allow at least an extra 30 minutes added to your scheduled treatment time. Follow up appointments consist of checking what your symptoms are that day, and treating them accordingly. Assessments or orthopedic testing may be completed as well, depending on the condition.
